Filed under: Swimwear, DesignersWe deeply respect an individual's right to wear whatever kind of swimsuit they want -- or even their right not to wear one -- but we totally did a double-take when we saw Alexander McQueen's creepy neck-binding men's swimsuit. In fact, we kind of did that thing where you vomit a little in the back of your throat. Some have compared it to Borat's famous over-the-shoulder thong, but honestly -- we think this one is much worse. The thing about swimsuits is that they are meant to cover only what is deem inappropriate in public. For men, that's usually below the waist (unless they've got an outrageously hairy back). This suit looks more like some kind of kinky dominatrix outfit than something a person would choose to wear. Plus, it seems like it might pose a strangulation hazard if you wore it out on the water.
