He takes blatantly dark themes and translates them into beautiful garments.Describing his S/S '09 collection of women's wear, about an hour before its New York Fashion Week debut, he says, "I like this collection becuase it balances the line and falls off the line."The collection was geometic and modern, fabricated from taffeta, silk and chiffon.
